Founded in March 2022, The Burn KC sportscast is the brainchild of Alex Blackburn, long time Kansas Citian and full time KC sports fan. The passion for journalism and sports drove Alex to self start his own freelance sportscasting site, and with a clever twist on his last name, named it The Burn KC.
